Co-Founder, Painting + Drawing Teacher
Hello! My name is Ann Tin, and I’m a Canada-based artist and art educator with many years of experience in painting, design, and cross-cultural visual arts. I graduated from the Academy of Arts & Design at Tsinghua University and later continued my studies at Columbus College of Art & Design in the United States. I currently serve as Vice President of the Atlantic Artists Association and have been actively involved in artistic creation, teaching, and community art engagement for many years.

Alongside my personal artistic practice, I have always been deeply passionate about teaching. I believe that art is not only about learning technical skills, but also a meaningful way to relax, relieve stress, cultivate inner balance, enrich daily life, and develop aesthetic awareness. In my classes, students explore drawing, watercolor, oil painting, color theory, and composition while also building observation skills, concentration, creativity, and personal expression.
Through a warm and encouraging teaching approach, I hope to make art accessible and enjoyable for students of all ages and backgrounds — whether they are pursuing serious artistic training, exploring a new hobby, or simply looking for a creative and relaxing space in their lives.

Hello! My name is Alyssa Tin, and I’m an animation and digital art teacher currently studying Animation at Sheridan College. Ever since I was little, I’ve always loved to create, create, and create! However, I came from an academic background, so for a long time I never thought of turning my hobby into a career. But that changed during my last year of high school when I enrolled in a portfolio class where I sat for 4 hours 2-3 times a week drawing. And instead of feeling drained I was completely immersed, never bored and never wanting to put my pen down. That was what made me realize that animation/art was it!

I started my part of this studio to share that same passion of creating with others. I hope to introduce animation and digital art in a way that is fun, inspiring, and approachable to students of all ages. I believe that building artistic skills and creative knowledge can open doors to not only the art industry but a multitude of things that involve creativity like science, math and technology!
I love helping students grow through patient guidance, practical feedback and encouraging a mindset of curiosity and consistency. When I teach, I always adapt to each student’s individual needs and goals — whether they want to strengthen their artistic skills, explore animation, or rediscover the joy of creating. Wherever they are in their creative journey, I’ll be there!
